Spencer holds off Gilman 9-6

ter, going 3 for 4 with three RBI and topping off her performance with three stolen bases.

The Pirates came into bottom of the 7th inning, trailing the Rockets 9-3. Gilman scored 3 runs before Meinders buckled down with one out and struck out the final two Pirate batters. Rockets coach Laschel Canfield, “I am very impressed with our bats today, Lexi coming up with a big home run, she has been working really hard on it and it has paid off.
